God bless America,

Land that I love.
Stand beside her,
and
guide her
Through the night
with a light
from above.
From the mountains,
to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam

God bless America,

My home sweet home

God bless America,

My home sweet home.

Looking at your photos of your porch, I felt transported back to a time when the 4th was celebrated properly. Call me Pollyanna, but I want muslin bunting, festooned straw skimmers, and bands in the park.
When I think, really think, of how blessed I am to be an American, I realize America needs more than just a hot dog and fireworks to celebrate her glorious birthday.
Your porch is a beautiful example.
