labor of love...
That was a lot of work.
It was a great show
with great vendors and great customers.
I've received a few awards over the weekend:
The Honest Scrap Award
Thanks Gale and Kathleen!
I'll be posting those soon
(I have to think of something you might want to know about me!)
along with some more photos of the sale.
My computer time is still limited...
my family wants me back.
And I miss them ,too.
tata for now,

we interrupt this madness...
My grandbaby triplets are 1!
so unique, so delightful, so much fun
I am so thankful for these blessings in my son's life.
We were not sure they would be able to have children
after serious fertility struggles.
But God has blessed them abundantly.
almost there...

guns and roses...
See these knobs?
DH is my maintenance guy, too.
Am I sounding spoiled, yet?

When we need to be in high production
(like now)
2. Next is probably the most important step: prep!
Here is the finished cabinet
I pulled a few more photos of some of my favorite pieces.
Have I ever mentioned how much
I love the transformation process?
I wish I took more *before* and *during* pics to show you.
With all of the busy-ness of these days; I needed to de-stress.
I thought to myself...I'm going to take a few minutes and just do the part I love.
Do you know where I ended up?
Right there in my driveway,
puttering on one of the (many) un-finished products,
paint gun in hand.
Until next week,

6 days...
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
Ps. 121:1,2
Today was one of those days.
that we would not get up on Sunday mornings
and decide whether we were going to church or not.
We just go.
There is still so much to do. Only 6 working days left.
There is:
emptying the barn for the vendors
finish painting
pricing (I haven't even started yet-yikes!)
display
and all of those other things on my list to create
I have have to admit:
I was tempted.
Lots of reasons why I could have stayed home.
But I am so glad I did not.
Church:
a time to re-focus
a time to listen
a time to get re-aligned.
Lord, reign in me
Reign in your power
Over all my dreams
In my darkest hour
You are the Lord of all I am
So won't you reign in me again.
Talk to you soon,
Rene'

Julie and Julia...
What touched me the most was Julia's passion
for cooking
and how it all came about.
You know what I'm talking about:

These chairs are some of my favorites.
There is a matching table.
All of the details
And just for fun
Check out all of the wonderful whites
See Faded Charm for the links.
That list is getting really long.
I think I'll start at the bottom this week!
