the post without a name...

...because
I can't think of a name
and
because
I wanted to show you my
end-of-the-season photos.
You will remember,
we My Mr. set out the end of June to re-paint our girl.
We My Mr. has been hard at it ever since
and it has been a race against the winter weather to finish.
Why is it always a race against the clock around here?
This past week we My Mr. finished
the porch posts and the side porch floor.
We just have the front porch left to finish...
I think the weather is going to win that one.
We I am ready to move inside.

I've been waiting to take finished photos of the house...
Saturday...just before dark...
as My Mr. was finishing  painting the floor,
I was scurrying around,
cleaning up,
stashing the uglies,
and turning on every light in the house.

I've always wanted to try these
just before dark,  all-of-the-lights-turned-on photos.

I keep telling  My Mr.  I loooove my house.
White is the perfect color for her.

I never thought I would have a white house

but I absolutely love it!

It is like getting a new  house all over again.

I am having so much fun playing and fixing and doing projects.

Now on to decking the halls.

Nope, haven't even started yet.
That's the story of my life-
a day late and a dollar short.

It's a good thing I  do my best work under pressure!

We'll see what I can get finished for the parties this week
otherwise-it will be into the archives I go.

It truly IS beautiful dressed in white! How happy you must be. I ♥ your photos with the lighted windows.

I'm guessing we'll see some greens in your outside decorating - maybe one big wreath (or one per window???) and a bit of garland.... with a bow or two.

I have been waiting patiently to see the beautiful Lady in her new gown and she is stunning. So pretty as darkness surrounds her and the soft glow shines from the windows. I can see why you so love this pretty lady. Can't wait to see her accessories as she gets all dressed for the holidays.

Gorgeous! Give your Mister a big hug for all his hard work. We actually purchased the paint to do our home this summer and guess what? We never painted it and now it's too cold. Oh well, come spring we should be ready to go.

Just lovely! I love it white too. Isn't it funny how our tastes change over the years? I wish my house was white or light gray now...but it will do as is. :)
