Did I mention that the sun is shining?

It is amazing how much better I feel

and

how I actually want to *do* something.

Speaking of that...I found this adorable cherub made by Suzanne over at Pink Roses...to be honest I've been a little hesitant about altered art but this little lady just made me *smile* and maybe she'll even inspire me to try my hand at one for myself. I do think it's those pink roses-they are just something soo cheerful!

Last night was my daughter's last basketball game.

The sweet, gentle little girl became a force to be reckoned with.

I will miss watching her play.

We made these delicious cookies

they are the best sugar cookies we've ever made

We tried this recipe at Christmas and decided it was a keeper!

Building memories

We been making these christmas cookies ever since my oldest children were little. Now we make it a day. We had my youngest 2 girls, my daughter, my 3 grandsons, and my 2 sweet daughters-in-laws(is that right?).

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Today is my deadline for finishing my decorating...

the girls are coming for our annual baking day (see results later)...
