Building memories

We been making these christmas cookies ever since my oldest children were little. Now we make it a day. We had my youngest 2 girls, my daughter, my 3 grandsons, and my 2 sweet daughters-in-laws(is that right?).

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Today is my deadline for finishing my decorating...

the girls are coming for our annual baking day (see results later)...

My birthday rocker...

I love my new rocker...
so perfect for sitting by the fire...
I found this at one of my favorite local "shabby chic" shops.
It was already painted-so I didn't have to be the "bad" guy:)
I've been into antiques for so long that it is hard for me to paint "true" antiques.

It is sooo comfy!

My idea of deep cleaning-just move all of my junque' to another room!

But we did get this room cleaned up and are enjoying its coziness!
