and it's a wrap...twenty-eleven

It's pretty  hard to wrap up
a whole  year in one post.
I'll try, though.

Here's an overview:
I've included:
 my favorite posts,
your favorite posts,
the most viewed post,
and the most commented-on post.
And
just for fun
a few pictures that I love.

 I've included links
so you can go back
if  you want to spend the whole afternoon here.

It was a great year
Thank you so much for being a part.
You encourage me more than you  know.

january

We started January with the pictures
of my Miss Mrs G's vintage-style wedding.
Seems like forever-ago and yet just like yesterday, KWIM?
I do miss my little girl.

I am so thankful
for the Lord's protection and provision
this year.
He has protected my family.
My sons have not been  injured seriously
in their very dangerous jobs.

He has provided abundantly.
We  made it through the lean winter of the recession.
We have a new grandson.
We have a new grandbaby on the way.
My youngest girl is growing up more every day.
Relationships are healing
and
Hearts are healing.

Grace has been given freely.

It has been fun to go back and see what I have written.
This blog is about my passions.
I hope they do show through;
my faith,
 my family,
and
my love of vintage.
Thanks again for coming along with me.
Happy New Year!

Miss Gracie,
As I traveled through this twenty~eleven wrap...some things look familar, yet the name doesn't seem to hold on me. I was filled with such warmth (even with all the white) of your life as I caught a glimpse in these photos and through your voice! What a touching tribute to your past year in the Land of Blog. I'll come visit again, soon!
Fondly,
Pat

Rene- I am a late comer to your blog-coming sometime mid to late year. I went back today and read some of your posts. The writing you did on your anniversary really spoke to my heart. I have traveled those same waters and run those same rapids and come up gasping for breath as my mate sought to find his way back. You have touvhed my heart here and I find that you are much more than a pretty blog. I think that you and I are much alike on a deeper level than we know-

Happy Blessed New Year to you- xo Diana

Truly lovely post...

Your accomplishments are awesome...

No wonder your banners sold...they spoke to the Soul...

Congradulations on homeschooling...

Your front roses look like peony's and I agree with you that peony's are special...name of the roses and peony's if you know them would be appreciated...

congradulations on your dear grandchildren...

Love your HOME... it is a HOME; not a house....

Happy and Holy New Year in the Year of Our Lord 2012...
