bits and pieces...

My heart started racing when I saw this...

It was at a yard sale, although not a bargain price, just a cool find.

I think it was it was the top to either a pump organ or a fireplace mantel.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

I'll let ya know though!

I've been recovering from the weekend activities and working on a few projects for the shop.

Here are some before and after pics...

I haven't seen that grandbaby since Saturday so that is on the list of -to-do's this weekend! I'll try to post more photos!

It's that time of the week again-the week just goes by soo quickly-time to hit the yard sales so that's where I will be!

Dear Rene',
I love your new piece of furniture! You did a beautiful job of making over the other pieces. Isn't it wonderful what a good paint job can do?

Enjoy your visit with your dear little grandbaby. I hope you find some pretties at the yard sales this weekend!

Blessings,
Paula

It is the top to a pump organ. My mother has one that looks just like it, hers also has the bottom.

Love the white but have to admit I kind of felt bad for the dresser, only because I adored its "before" look too. :o)

Would you consider offering a tutorial on the process of finishing pieces like this? I'd sure appreciate it!

Wish we lived nearby. Visiting your shop would be so neat!
