She's pretty shabby but oh so chic with the white pitcher of roses in her. Beautiful find! You'll get a lot of decorating uses out of it for sure. ~ Pamela

I am always so impressed by your photography skills! You can take something as simple as an old birdcage (which is really awesome on it's own) and turn it into a lovely work of art. It's all fabulous!!

hi rene',
your new (old) bird cage is fab! i like to imagine the bird which sweetly sang while caged within, and the person who nurtured it. it is perfect as you have displayed it with the pretty pink roses inside.
i saw a similar one on monday...on a stand! with the glass feeding cups!...in a tiny shop, in a tiny town an hour's drive from my home. i passed it up due to lack of $$$ but think i will be trekking back next payday. we'll see if it is meant to be mine ♥
love your blog, and your etsy shop ♥

Rene, thanks for leaving a comment about my daughters painting. And yes, we finally got some relief from the horrible heat. It has rained for several days and the temps have been in the low 90's. It feels like Fall.

I love your birdcage. As always you post beautiful pictures.

Have a great weekend!

I'm loving your Birdcage and the beautiful floral vignettes tucked inside. I enjoy putting vignettes in my birdcage too, my Grand-Daughter, when younger, used to think perhaps Gramma had lost her mind and once at the age of about three in a loud stage whispered asked her Grandpa if Gramma knew she didn't have a bird? *winks* So I went out to Michaels and bought some fake birds to appease her... which only intensified her concern for my sanity as she loudly whispered once again to Grandpa... does Gramma know that those birds are DEAD?!? *LOL*
