what caught my eye...

I really did have a great time
searching
for treasures in Portland.

I came home with lots.

Some  were great prices

and
some called to me.

like this tiny little dolly

 Have you ever seen
a more adorable baby dress?

Think
of all the love
in each little stitch and tuck.

I love this brown transferware shaving mug.

I've wanted a  plateau mirror
so I snatched this one right up.
I've been watching them on ebay
and
this was priced waaay better.

So now, I'm busy creating new vignettes...
mainly in my bedroom.
I'm trying to decide
what's for me
and
what's for sale.

I have to sell
something
to make it a buying trip
for Miss Gracie's,
 right?

check out more...

Dang girl, you can be my personal shopper anytime. Every single item you chose is so special, I can't understand how they 'spoke' to you. I don't know how you can possibly decide what to sell. I will be watching you shop tho! Lisa
Looks like I'm not the only one whose wheels are spinning!

You found some great treasures. I want to start getting some old white pieces of pottery or dishes, plates anything white and old and chippy.

You, did great! Love every single thing! Portland has some great antique shops! and I like all the resale shops on Glissen, too. I have a friend who live 50 miles east of Portland and we always go antiquing when I am visiting. glad that you had such a good time. I'd be just like you though, trying to decide what I could part with!
Good job!

Rene, that is one lot full of yumminess. You are so funny, I do the same thing, want to keep everything. Check my pink post for Saturday and you will see the pink lot I'm having trouble selling, same thing, I have to sell something. I kind of have an agreement about the big pieces, one comes in, one must go out. With the little pieces I get to cheat and keep more. Then again I see so much stuff that I will keep if I was you. The little doll I'm having the hardest time finding those. Blessings, Marta.

There are two occupations I think would be heaven. One - working in a florist shop. Two - doing exactly what you do, Rene'!
Everything is gorgeous! Have fun choosing what to keep and what to share!

SOOOOOOO Much Prettiness!!!! Us poor folks in Phoenix have no place to go to find this kind of stuff! I would have been in heaven. :)

So much to see! So many things bring memories. I'm particularly drawn the the little change purse which takes me right back to my childhood...just the kind you have. I can see older ladies at the shops opening their little change purses. All loveliness in this post! Thanks.

Rene' ~OH YES...that is the hardest part...PARTING with things we buy.
I had a booth at antique mall for about a year...and it was not a good time to have a booth..a few years ago....and I have a LOT of the stuff I bought for it back then..and it is taking over the garage, spare rooms, dining room..you name it.
I need to open an Etsy for sure.

LOVE YOUR FINDS...so very much.
