6 days...

I lift my eyes up to the hills-

Where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord,

the Maker of heaven and earth.

Ps. 121:1,2

Today was one of those days.

I am so glad we decided years ago
that we would not get up on Sunday mornings
and decide whether we were going to church or not.
We just go.

There is still so much to do. Only 6 working days left.

There is:
emptying the barn for the vendors
finish painting
pricing (I haven't even started yet-yikes!)
display
and all of those other things on my list to create

I have have to admit:
I was tempted.
Lots of reasons why I could have stayed home.

But I am so glad I did not.

Church:
a time to re-focus
a time to listen
a time to get re-aligned.

Lord, reign in me
Reign in your power
Over all my dreams
In my darkest hour
You are the Lord of all I am
So won't you reign in me again.

Talk to you soon,
Rene'

Bless you, you made the right decision for today. Sorry, I did the opposite and I am feeling really bad that I did. Thank you for your courage to do the right thing. It does inspire me that God is the most important thing and He is first and Church is important. I made a bad choice and hope not to repeat that again. Bless you and I bet you have a better week than I do. sandi

Ack...I'm with the Green Pea. I didn't go today either because my hubby had an extra crazy week last week with another one that will start tomorrow. I wish we'd gone. We missed out, I know. :(

God always meets our needs. We'd have gotten just as much done today if we had gone...

Love to you~Rebecca

We go - - - to be nourished. <><

Wish I could bring you suppers this week, just to take the 'load' off, dear friend.

For me and my family...we are right with you. In fact, it is always a real blessing to spend our Sundays at a very special little church. Beautiful, inspiring post!

It will get done my friend, one step at a time.

Like eating an elephant, one bite at a time. It will get done this week and I wish you well and great success. You did it right Sunday with first things first. :-)

Hi Rene, I always go to church, by myself, as my DBF is not Catholic and does not care to go. I do it for myself. It is my time in a busy week that I can go and devote myself to God and renew my faith. I always say thanks for getting me through the past week and helping me get through the next. I just wanted to let you know that I am having my 100th post giveaway and I wanted you to join in on the fun! I know you will love the stuff that I've chosen, so come over and see what it's all about.

Thank you, Rene, for this post. On Sunday morning I was woken up by my neighbours shouting onscenities at each other. It was so refreshing to get away to sing praises to the Lord, hear His word and fellowship with His people.
God bless you too.
