What I've been doing at...

It's been awhile since I've posted

about this great little antique shop

that I get to be part of.

Pretty mirrors

It's always fun to do a *new * look.

My 4th of July tribute.

Did I ever show you my sign?

I made it before (like hours) the spring sale.

I love how it turned out.

I used an antique headboard,

a resin rose swag, and had the vinyl letters made.

Perfect for me.

There's always room for roses.

Hop on over here to see more...

Talk to you soon,

Rene'

You are so brave to do that to an old headboard, by the way, it is beautiful!!!
Me, I'd be too chicken to paint my old oak furniture, but every time I see some painted I have to admit, I'm tempted ;-).

I hope you all have a lively Fourth.

I haven't read your blog completely but understand that it isn't well with your husband.

May God give you the strenght but also the joy to get throught this period of time. And that your husband may get well.

Hi Renee`,
I put a post up with a picture of my full headboard. it's a very simple design, but it is Oak. I had no idea they made furniture out of Ash at the turn of the century.
Oh, by the way, the interior of your daughter's car is BEAUTIFUL! They certainly don't make things like they used to, do they?

I hope you have a wonderful day.

Your 'Miss Gracie's' sign couldn't be more beautiful...it is so perfect...I love everything about it!

You know Idaho is not that far from Northern Ca. so maybe one day I will make it to one of your barn sales. Me & jAne could come together.
