oh, happy day

Today,
we celebrate.
I
became a
mother.

my dreams came true

my daughter,
katie,
 has been is
my joy.

She is helper~sweet~ hard-working~ frugal~has the prettiest blue eyes you'll ever see~ creative, i mean like out of nothing creative, without a pattern creative~she  reminds me of her daddy with her generous heart~she loves the Lord~ she loves and serves her Mr. Wonderful and her busy boys~she is a homeschooling mama just like her mama~she loves to garden~
she is one of my best friends~
she is beautiful inside and out~
and I am so proud of her.

And the best news of all:
she had her 26 wk checkup/ultrasound
all is well
and our little guy is up
to 2 pounds 5 oz.

Thank You,
Lord!

Happy Birthday, dear girl.

These are her family's portion of the photo shoot.

I know yesterday's post was a bit *heavy*...
but don't you think we need days like that?
To reflect and to remember.

Happy Birthday to Her!!!
She is glowing and I pray for her and wish her a smooth sail through her third trimester!!!
The photo shoot was just so amazing!!
her boys are all growing like weeds!
Have we seen all of the shoot yet?? hmmm?? :)
Your post yesterday resonated with me. I lost my third baby ((it was mine and my Husband's first baby together)) seventeen years ago and always think of her Birthday when it rolls around every Fall.
You have such a sweet way with words..wished we lived closer...maybe one day I will make it up that way..
Blessings~

What a beautiful daughter you have raised and what a lovely family.

I so enjoy coming to your blog as you share a little or yourself each time. I too lost miscarried and each October I am reminded of the one I didn't know. But I was incrediably blessed to you have my youngest (who just turned 13) afterwards.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas.
