Like many of you...fall is my favorite season.

the milder sunshine, the colors, and the nip in the air.
It's like there is an excitement building...

We celebrated our family's fall birthdays last Sunday.
I threw together this fall arrangement for the table.
That is what is so nice about everything coordinating...
it just all works together,
no matter how it is arranged.
This is one of my treasures from Farm Chicks.
I bought it from Amy and Kris At the Country Store.
(Amy's blog is Amy's Vintage Cottage-check out her wonderful whites)
They had a fabulous booth...one of my favortist favorites.
The menu request was *Olive Garden* style.Miss G made us chicken alfredo fetticini
and
fresh sourdough bread.
But this is the *killer*.
Yep.This is her version of :
Black Tie Mousse' Cake.
Just like Olive Garden.
Heavenly.
To die for.
It is supposed to rain all day
so maybe I'll get caught up on my blogging.
I'm looking forward to a cup of tea and visiting all of the cozy whites out there.

Oh Rene, Love all your whites.... the way you arranged things for display is just Beautiful. The cake is something my husband would die over..... boy does that ever look scrumptious. By the way I adore the white cup near the cake too! Do you have many of those? I would love to get my hand on some of those.

Rene your vignettes are always the loveliest. You just have such an eye for arranging things. I visited your space at SH this past summer and it was beautiful.

You host the best get-together's and white laced party's.
My twinkle lights are in need of some adjusting after the storms yesterday blew them about. So many trees are down and flooding. But the air smells clean today and the birds in the field behind me are chirping as I type. Wish I could have you over for some tea. You, me, and jAne would have a sweet time together.
Ya know, whenever you try to be good someone just has to tempt you with something wonderful. My friend, I am now searching the house for chocolate. lol

Sitting at your table would be a real special treat. Your whites, arranged so creatively would make one beautiful tablescape. But, add that cake, and it would be almost like "heaven came down".
