roses and rust...

Here are a *few* more photos

of last weekend's happenings...

I enjoyed the whites of Wednesday's post
but I'm really getting into this *new* look.

New for me, anyway.

It seemed as though, it was what I kept finding

as I was out thrifting.

Rusty, chippy, warm, quirky shabbiness

I am glad it is over.

It was delightfully fun and rewarding

but it was also very consuming and stressful.

My husband is still struggling;

he gave me the go-ahead for the sale...

but as we got more and more into the preparation of it all,

I doubted that decision.

BUT after postcards had been mailed

there was no turning back.

The show must go on.

God is good...He saw us through and blessed us

with a great crowd and a great sale.

I love my new *cubby* display piece...

My husband kept shaking his head as I was working on it.

But, hey, while it may not be perfect ,it was given to me

and it does do what I had in mind...

I never get things as *full* and as *accessorized*
as I'd like to...it could be because I'm still painting

come the Thursday morning before the sale.

I'm gonna have to work on that...

I really do think it was my best show ever
both in quality and quantity

thanks to them.
They are so patient with me

and trust that somehow

it will all come together

at the last minute.

BUT not one minute too soon!

Sometimes they even pitch in and help me stash.
