well how about that, we were 20 degrees cooler today than yesterday....which was still 20 degrees above our normal! Usually still in the 30's our Spring has brought us 50's and up so far! Just loving it. Your house looks fabulous with or without snow.
Looks like Mother Nature was just fooling around with your mind... snow on the first day of spring. My, My. what will happen next? Love your house. I just love the angles of the roof etc. Charming place.
It does look pretty! Sorry you got snow today. It was unusually warm here today at 70 F. Normally it would be about 34 - 36F. We'll be getting snow Saturday night but until then I'll enjoy the sunshine and warm breezes. Your snow is probably gone now right? Blessings, Pamela
I can't believe it is SPRING! Had it not been for this post, I might well have missed the whole thing! Your Grand Lady looks lovely draped in a Frosty Winter Dress~
Your house looks stunning against a soft blanket of snow. You are not having the weather we are.It is in the 80's here. Most unusual for this time of the year. That is more like June weather for us.
Well, It is Beautiful in the snow... & that could be next yrs. Christmas card.. : ) & too funny... that is what the 1st day of spring usually looks like at my house... today 86 & sunny... & I am NOT complaining 2 ft. of snow 2 wks ago... : )
Oh my, with so many of us enjoying such warm temps and you my friend have snow. That Painted Lady looks beautiful no matter what the weather is outside. Hope the snow is short lived and Spring will be blooming out there soon. Angela
Too funny, but maybe not funny?? We have had temps in the high 80's in southeast Michigan! UNHEARD of at this time of year. My lilacs have buds on them already!! Hope it warms up for you soon! Blessings~
Looks pretty good in Snow, don't ya think? Even so, I'm so ready for warmer sunny weather. I think I'll probably wake up to more white stuff in the morning and next couple days. Will it ever end????
Snow? Very pretty picture. I would have liked to get cooled off in that snow this afternoon as I was going for a walk, it was 86 degrees here in Indiana! Such really strange weather!
That is exactly what I am expecting to happen around here! I think it was almost 80 here yesterday and they say we broke records... I am still trying to debate whether to rake the leaves off of my garden. Your home looks beautiful in the snow!!! t.xoxoxoxo
Hi Renee, It's been ages since I've been on the blogs. Long story, longer winter, LOL. Your house is just so perfect. I love the detail & all the little tucked away spaces like the pantry & stairs. I can't wait to see what you do. Hope your roses bloom soon. Lisa
Somewhere it's still winter and not 20 degrees warmer than normal? Enjoy your brief snow. I would guess it won't last long. Your house looks pretty in the snow! And I love your front hall...wonderful staircase. I'm amazed at your wall paper removal--considering I worked 17 hours on a small patch of, yes, unprepped right on unpainted wallboard wall paper. Finally gave up!
It does look pretty so vintage. The weather has been so weird. In New Jersey they say we are three weeks ahead of schedule with everything because it has been so warm.
That's funny, but I know what you're talking about. We haven't had a big snowstorm yet. Your house is just awesome in the snow. It looks like home, like any of us out here would be so welcome there.
Yes, your home with the snow does look like a beautiful vintage post card. Lovely. As for snow on the first day of Spring: think Mr. Winter was miffed that he did not act all big and blustery in some parts of the country, so he wanted to have the last laugh by dumping snow on the first day of Spring! Blessings.
Oh goodness! We have been experiencing unusually warm temps this winter and things started popping up green really early but we've been known to have a hard freeze as late as the first of April. So far, so good! Spring is in full force.
Welcome~I'm Rene'. I am a forty-something wife, homeschooling mom, and grandmother. I'm learning to walk in *grace* more and more each day. I am a daughter of my King.
I live in a 100-year old farmhouse which we just might finish renovating someday. But is is still my home sweet home. Most days you will find me here working on all of my *projects*.
I do business as *Miss Gracie's*. I love all things vintage but I also love to take old, outdated, worn items and give them new life.
Here you will find bits and pieces of my life...from grandbabies, to shopkeeping, to my walk with God.
My home. My passions. My heart.
I'm so glad you stopped by for a visit.
