past parlor tour...

Here it is...time for white wednesday already...

Decking the halls is slow-going.
slow, like I haven't started.
But I do have this for you:
I went  back to look at what I did in the past to get refresh the memory...and thought you might like to look, too.
welcome to my past parlor tour...

Gosh, I have a lot of pictures...
these are only for the last 2 Christmases.
I'd better get busy.

I'll do some of this again...but some parts will be different.
Like so many of you, I really want to add Christmas  to what's  already there...simplicity is the name of the game.
Do you think I can do it?

The other thing is that I have re-done the parlor a bit since last year.  Wallpaper is gone... walls are painted white...
definitely a less formal and farmhouse (I hope) style.

It is killing me  to not  participate
in all of the Christmas home tours/linky parties...

HOW do you already have everything finished?

Rene ~ Thank you for the tour of your parlor from past Christmases. Very lovely, so antique and wonderful looking. This year I only put up a tiny tree, that was enough for me.

Have a wonderful love filled Christmas holiday season.

You just gave me the BEST idea. Next year for Christmas I am asking for a gift certificate for a decorator to do my main rooms for me. I always find it so difficult. I know someone who will do it for $75. I think is is a bargain. What do you think?

Oh, how lovely! I'm in love with your snow angels. They create such a nostalgic feel. And, of course, bottle brush trees sprinkled in here and there are always the perfect finishing touch. Can't wait to see this year's decor.

I love your Christmas decor. We have some of the same things incorporated. I like the silver touches, and the neural colors.

Thanks for taking us on your Christmas Past Tour... it was all stunning... and I'm certain your Christmas Present will be equally amazing. No hurries... no worries... it will come together in due time. This year I didn't have the time to decorate like I usually would and so I went with a Salvage Memory Christmas that was effortless, quick and turned out far better than I ever imagined... the entire crew here thought it might be our best Styling ever... so sometimes necessity is the Mother of Invention and the results will astound you!

Hi
Don't feel bad, I am just finishing up... I starred at those bins for 2 weeks! I wanted to participate in a couple tours but didn't get pictures in time... oh well, I'd rather enjoy it and not put pressure on myself.
Your pictures are lovely and whether they are from last year or the year before I enjoyed them completely
Blessings this week!
