my new business cards
designed by my mrs g
aren't they perfectly lovely?

only 3 more days to work
if you  count friday
the sale begins at 6:00 pm  friday evening
so i figure i can get a full 12 hours in before opening
I'm averaging 22,000 steps  a day per my pedometer
it 's a long way to that  barn for these short legs
I'm  hot, I'm tired, I'm covered in dust,
and
I'm having a blast
the creativeness just won't stop
but sad to say there are no previews yet
everything is still here, there and everywhere

Thank you all for your sweet words
of support and encouragement.
I soak 'em in, I really do.
I really want to add a white wednesday photo
so here it is...

an original photo  of my home...and there's the barn, too

and now.

Wishing you much success this weekend Rene' and I love the old photo of your home. Photos of old homes always bring a smile to my face...if only the walls could talk. Also to see that a family loved it enough to keep it's old bones alive and living:-)

Hi Rene, it's understandable you're stressed! for I have seen your "inventory" maybe part of what will be on sale and guess strenuous activity will complete the entire proceeds, but as you have had previous experience and "helpers" of insurance will be successful! You have real treasures! They sell themselves! and your new visitor is beautiful. That kitten with blue eyes! Your peonies arrangements look like a blessing, taken from the garden! so I wish you the best of sales! a greeting, warm from the Caribbean, Rose Marie

I am a regular reader of your blog, but don't leave many comments
However, I want to wish you "good luck" with your barn sale...I know it is and has been a LOT of work to get it all together....I am sure
you are going to do well..!!
I LOVE your house...the old photo and the newly remodeled/decorated one...yours is the sort of home I always longed for!! Like my grand-
mother's!! I have a big two story house, but it does not look Victorian.....sigh!! You always have the neatest photos of everything...and what a lovely family you have!!
Again, have a great sale!!

Wow ! That is a lot of steps !You still take time to blog ! WoW ! The business cards are wonderful! The photo of the old house & barn , oh it is so nice & your home now ! WOW again! You love what I love . So fun to see your blog & journal of your life. I sold for many years at a busy Flea Market I made everything I sold I know the work. When you had the post on the reclaiming your house. Hey, I understand that . These fantastic sales you put on ,WOW ! They are work but you know in one sale you will most likely get more PRAISE in that one sale that lasts a week end than most people might get in a year & you will deserve it! I'm smiling so BIG I'm crying. Others are going to walk in and see your heart & soul !It is work but oh to have a way with display is a gift !It is a gift for others to see & our hands to prepare! You sure have that gift ! The house cleaning will come but that week after the sale your going to be wearing the biggest smile for all the awe you'll put those lucky folks in! I wish I was there! Hugs to you friend!

I love a good project to get the creative juices flowing... but it is tiring and I find I can't keep going like I used to... nuts.
I need to start my exercise program again now that I am home again, yuk.
I love your home, it looks better than the original pics, not the case of mine. I should post the original pictures-you wouldn't recognize it.
Good luck with all
Blessings
