this is where it all began...

our first real home
purchased just 3 months after we were married
having an old house was always
part.of.the
DREAM

an old house
with old kitchen cabinets
and old  woodwork
and
all of that old charm
so unique
to these vintage houses.

and did I say
old trees?

Isn't she purty?

I'd show you the insides
if
 I could find the pics.
If
I wouldn't have started
a scrapbooking extravaganza
and took every last one of my photos
out
of
the
album.

If
I wouldn't have gotten distracted?

ME, do all that?
yes, me.

Anyone else?

Hi Rene',
She is wonderful! At 20, I lived in an old cottage in Saratoga, CA behind an apricot orchard. I LOVED that house - so very charming and full of love! :)
Wishing you a lovely weekend!

Don't we wish we had digital cameras back in the day? The photos from the 70s especially aren't that great, some are fading away, and of course, not so many were taken. I love the photos from the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s---those black and white as clear and crisp as can be! Enjoyed the look at your first home, and thanks for your sweet comment on my post.

I was thinking just the other day that you should do a blog series on all the different houses!
