these are a few of my favorite whites...


it's an inspiration
of simplicity and beauty

while digging through the files of 2010
I found a few  of my favorites
I never did a year-end review
I am always soo behind
but
I thought it would be
perfect 
for this week.

Last spring was a time of fear for me.
My husband had serious health issues
and the financial burdens were large.
My oldest daughter lost another baby mid-term pregnancy.




My faith was strengthened.
God is good.
He is faithful.
My  husband is well
the hospital bill was reduced from
$23,000
to
2,000
and my daughter 
is now 32 weeks pregnant.
Thank you to all 
who have asked and continued
to pray for her!!

These might show some of  my favorite *work*

I will remember 
2010 
as a year 
of 
challenges, heartbreak, fear, joy, faith,
grace,
of  giving away, seeing God's mighty hand of provision, perseverance
revelation and restoration,
forgiveness
and 
hope.



Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us...Eph. 3:20

What a beautiful post. And your bedroom is fabulous! I do expect I'll be seeing it in print soon! Thank you for your kind words on my PS post. I appreciate your prayers and I take courage from reading about your struggles this year and their joyous resolutions. I have the same glittered "HOPE" banner up in my dining room in front of a mirror. It has been there since my son was diagnosed with leukemia 7 years ago and I expect it will be there long past the 5 year post chemo mark that I originally planned on. One can never be without hope, huh? Anyway, good things to you in 2011. I am your newest follower.

Hi Rene, I enjoy seeing all your beautiful whites, so many interesting things to see, but what really caught my eye was the simple handbag displayed so nicely with all the pretties inside. I also like your pillow.... you did a wonderful job and making those fabulous rosettes..... that is something I want to perfect.

Your favorites are my favorites too. I love the guy in white with the white furniture, kind of eerie, but very necessary. I love your bedroom redo, I don't know how many times I've come back and and looked at it, and the pillow, I made one for my nephew for his wedding because I loved yours so much. Diane

I am so happy to read that your huband's health problems seem to be over and that you were able to get the bills reduced. Way out of line to begin with.

Also wonderful news about your daughter. She should be fine from now on.

Hi. I loved reading your year in review as I didn't get to read some of your older posts. Glad your husband is well. That is a lot of white painted furniture :). It sounds like 2011 is off to a much better start for you and your family, thank the Lord.
Your photos are stunning! The one with all your furniture spread out by the barn is priceless. Now that's the way to get something accomplished: an assembly line. It would take me all year to paint all those pieces. Beautiful!

Dear Rene, You are such a godly woman and an inspiration to me!!! I am so sorry 2010 was such a difficult and heartbreaking year. It is wonderful how God brought good out of the bad and has blessed you and your dear ones in so many ways! He is so very good and so faithful! It is no fun to go through trials, but it is wonderful to draw closer to the Lord and to see his mighty hand work in our lives and help us in our time of distress and need. Thank you for being such a faithful witness to this!!!
