happily ever after...

I was invited to join Stephanie's
so
I thought I would share with you
my miss g's wedding
from November '10
I think I linked the whole shootin' shebang...
there are a couple of pages
so
keep hitting "older posts"
(at the bottom of the page)
if you are so inclined.
enjoy

the get-away-car
you can read here how we found and why we bought

(you'll never believe it)

They went to our local coffee shop
for their together photo shoot
after the wedding

How do those shoes keep getting in here?

 portraits

wow
you made it to the end
you girls are  so sweet with all of your compliments.

it was such a fun wedding

I was amazed at how much things have changed even since my son's wedding in 2004...there are so many great ideas out there...and it was easy because my daughter likes a lot of the same things I do...I did try to be careful that I was listening to what she wanted...and had to give up some of *my* ideas...it wasn't *my* wedding...I had great help..friends, family and women from the church all pitched in to get it done...and jamie (the photographer) was awesome...
It was her job to capture it all.
no pressure.

this is what  made it all worth it
her smile: priceless

I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed seeing the photos and your telling about this wedding. It is really something special. I laughed when you said you tried to let her have it her way. I've heard that our generation is the only one that didn't get to plan a wedding. Our mother's planned our's, and our daughter's planned their's. Oh well....ya'll really did it up right. I think this should be in a magazine. Your photographer is amazing. G-d bless and shalom,
Gail (P.s.) I posted about the car on that link - I'm a drooling over it, I tell ya. If you ever want to sell it, let me know.

Hi Rene, I love all of these vintage wedding pics and can't wait to read all of your posts about it. Everything is lovely and so creative! I may have to share some of your ideas with future brides at Starting Grounds Church. I am a wedding coordinator there. Our church totally goes with your theme. We are a church coffee house. It is all furnished with antiques, and we turned the small kitchen into a coffee shop.
Talk to you again soon!

I've been peeking at all the wedding posts. Amazed at how it all came together. LOVE the vintage touches, the black sweater, the hand made sweetness. It's all unique, beautiful and perfect. If I was going to marry my hub again I'd do it just like this!!!

Just wanted to pop in and tell you that as I was looking for ideas for my daughter's wedding, I feel that I hit the jackpot when I found you! Your daughter's wedding is exactly like the one we both have pictured in our heads! Your blog will be getting lots of 'hits' as we will constantly be visiting and studying your photos. I'm sure you came up with your ideas yourself but if you can steer us to any sites/blogs that gave you inspiration, we would certainly appreciate it.

I'm a new follower - not just for the wedding ideas but for everything you create.

Beautiful wedding, lovely bride, happy couple.
