this is how i feel...

headless

like I've lost my mind

like a chicken with its  her head cut off

you get the idea
~
~

shh...don't tell anyone
but
I'm supposed to be working

I  just had to take a break
I couldn't let another WW go by
without me.

we always forget how crazy it gets
and
how big of a push it is
 to pull it all together

I've saved these pics of my manny
for a day just like this

~
~
I promised you a sneek peek.
 so here it goes.
it is not pretty.
yet.

I think the hardest part of all
is
the transition
from storage/work area

to

show space.

And that requires moving
everything
at  least
3
times.

Here are some very
*in the rough*
pics of my shop

Better get going before I'm caught slacking!

Happy White Wednesday to all!

I LOVE that your bathtub is just like mine! Non-working, no fixtures, no plumbing. I keep waiting, one day I dream of bubble baths each time I glance at it. I love all the pictures, they are all beautiful.

Take care, Sue

Hi Rene :) I know exactly how you feel sometimes....lots of things going on all at once, trying to get it all done, and literally feeling my head's been cut off :) Your manni looks beautiful, by the way! Someday I hope to own a vintage one, but for now I have a newer one that I've dressed up with a gorgeous vintage pink dress, apron, and some bling, and topped of the top with a vintage rose hat :) She looks pretty good I think. If you'd like to see her, she's my March 12th post:)

That dresser is looking pretty good, just like it is now, and loved the peeks into your work space. Looks like my sewing room, with fabric strewn all over the place...looks like a tornado went thru, lol :)

Have a great rest of the week!

Warmest, Brenda

Your pictures are just stunning, I went back several times looking at them. I understand what your going thru having to turn what your using for storage and work space into a show place, I'm kinda having to do the same thing, and I'm really getting worn out from it, so I feel your pain!!! Blessings~~~Daphne

Oh my, thanks for the sneak peek! Loe the mannequin, she is beautiful, yes, I have to picture a head on her. The way you dressed her is absolutely gorgeous. I can't even imagine the hard work involved getting ready for a show! I'd love to be there too.

No slacking!

I love your blog and this is the reason why. Beautiful colors and subjects and your shop looks pretty even when you don't think it does. You have to have a mess before you can have pretty - right!! The moving - now that's hard. Take care of yourself through all of this. Diane
