a white victory...

I've been looking at this unfinished project
for 2 years now...
something was missing...i didn't know how to fix it
so i just moved on and tripped over it
alot...

I knew it had potential
a little cabinet with these sweet jars

The other thing that I've been putting off is collaging...
I've been afraid to try
I don't know why
probably because there is no right and wrong...
I'm a black and white kinda gal.

OK...you can do this...let's just try.

So, I just started...and you know what?
I had so much fun!

So I had 2 victories!
I finished a project
I tried something new..
and I liked it!

This just might get me going on some other want-to's...I'll let ya know.

Your finished project is just fabulous! I too have the same trepidation regarding projects, and end up leaving things unfinished for years. It's very fulfilling to complete something that you've been tripping over for quite some time!

Hello
Your cabinet turned out so wonderful and isn't collage fun! You did great!
I know what you are talking about having to be dedicated to the shop. It has been tuff because I don't have anyone working for me, so it is just me! Wish this economy would pick up so I could have a few days off a week :)

Dear Rene,
thank you for your visit and lovely comment.
I would like to warn you that apparently myh blog has been hacked into so no visits seems to be possible these past couple of days. I'm not so confident I'll be able to solve the problem all by myself, so I'll be most thankful to you if you'll e-mail me at ritapitoni@hotmail.com in case you happen to know of someone else who's encountered the same problem (and, hopefully solve it).
until my blog is again alive and kicking I'll be checking out yours as often as i can. I'm so addicted to all the lovely blogs of the marvelous people I have met so far that couldn't live without them.
Until the next time, take good care and happy blogging
rita
