this is love...

Nothing says I love you
more than
a day working on a project with my honey.
Today's honey-do included
a little project for our bedroom re-do.
If you remember our bedroom...
I have a backdrop for our bed.
I'm ready for a change...
I'm thinkin' a bit more *chippy* white

We had some old beadboard out it the chicken coop
hmm...how about that?
Measure...I think we have just enough.

It needed a lot of cleaning...

barn dirt + smoke damage from over the years.

It's just what I wanted.
I love you, too.

I look forward to seeing the picture of the new look. Can almost imagine it. It certainly was a work of love from your DH and working with him was love from you. ~ I love working with DH. We did some outdoor work together today and that felt great. Took down an arbor that had seen better days and some clean up and reorganizing. A nice steak for dinner with a margarita as our pre-dinner drink since it's Valentine's Day. Have a lovely evening ~ FlowerLady

I was just looking at the beautiful wallpaper and thought, I should wallpaper a piece of wallboard and put it behind my headboard. I have old beadboard now. We could switch, I love your wallpaper. Your new look will be great too. sandi

I am convinced that the two of you can create beauty out of anything you touch. Your old beadboard will end up looking like a headboard that I would see in a magazine. Just like your gorgeous banner looks like you would have paid lots of money for that look. I relax in the beauty here with my every visit. Can we see the finished product sometime?

Dear Rene,

What a romantic way to spend the day with your sweet hubby! Your bedroom is gorgeous! I would love to see a photo with the beadboard all in place. I love how you decorate!!! My sweet hubby made a bookcase for my cookbooks, painted it white and put beadboard in the back of it, that really made it!

Love, Paula
