my thankful heart...

This morning I am thankful for ...sleep.
You know, the all-night, sleep like a log kind.
The kind that when you wake up you are ready to tackle the day ahead.
I needed that kind of sleep.
My posts have been kinda one dimensional lately.
That's because I really didn't think you wanted to read
about my intensive cleaning
of the insect-infested pantry
(note to self-don't ignore those little moths)
or the never-ending attempt
to get everything under cover
(and maintain some bit of an organized plan)
before it snows.
That's what I've been up to around here...
So we begin this week of concentrated giving of * THANKS*
and my favorite holiday...

Eee Gads...Been there!

I bought a decorative loaf of bread once at a Craft Show in Dallas in the early 80's. I just loved it. About 6 months later I started noticing these little bugs everywhere. Before I knew it they had infested everything. One day I turned the loaf over and nearly FAINTED.

TRASHED. BAGGED. FUMIGATED.

Still took forever to rid ourselves of the pests.

Hi Rene,
I have been enjoying the photos of your beautiful bedroom and your spaces in the Shabby House. I just love the way you can make everything look like a dream.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family this week. I know that you are probably as excited as I am to celebrate the day.
Hugs,
June

Sleep can be a wonderful thing. I'm glad that you enjoyed yours. I've had those little moths in my pantry also and more than once. I keep my popcorn and rice in the refrigerator now and I think that helps. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I've been putting off much of my household organizational stuff lately, but with winter setting in pretty quickly, I've got my work cut out for me!
