her favorite...

HIM

I should be better at this by now.
Really, I should be.
This is my 4th time.
My fourth time trying to stop, watching,

fighting, conceding, accepting,
encouraging
one of my children
prepare to leave our nest.

My Miss G has found her "HIM"

He works hard...He comes from a good home and he honors his parents...

He serves others...

He leads worship...He loves God.

In their courtship he desires purity...He honors us...

This weekend they are in California with his family,
and will be leaving HIM there to attend bible college.
He is waiting and seeking direction,
desiring to be used.

He encourages her...
he makes her laugh...he cherishes her.

He reminds me of her Daddy.

What more could a mother ask for?

All photos were taken by my oldest daughter...
we like our cameras...can you tell?

What more can you ask for? That's for sure! Honoring his parents AND YOU, and in their desire for a chaste relationship--that's powerful. God will bless and honor that! Congratulations!

Pure, innocent, sweet love...isn't it just the best!! So thankful they are honoring their parents and God.
Praying for a lifetime of adoration to each other and their heavenly Father.

Oh! They look so happy together, and like you said, what more could a mother ask for? I can't think of a thing!
How perfectly wonderful!

How very wonderful for both of them!

My son and his wife saved their first kiss for the alter. It was quite a kiss!

Wishing them both peace and grace while they await the coming future.

What a beautiful post and how blessed you are. I believe we need to hear more stories like that. Some people will called those choices old fashion, I called them the fashion to follow. God is still ruling in young people hearts. Blessings, Marta.

Precious and swoon-worthy!
I love this - may their
courtship be blessed
and annointed,
and may
his time at bible college
be immersed in the
knowledge of the Most High.
If he's going to the college
I think he's going to,
he'll be amazingly
blessed with the teaching. :o)

Beautiful. Sniff...

When I brought my guy home he had a full beard and was bone thin. He worked too hard and drove a 67 Chevy Impala.

My parents just stared at me in confusion.

All these years later (31plus) he has risen up to not only bless me and our children but my parents as well.

Looks like your girl's guy is a keeper to me.

Love, Rebecca

She is so pretty and pure looking! A quality that is lacking in some young women now a days. Her inner beauty shows on the outside too. Love the photo on the train tracks too.
Does HIM have a younger brother for one of my daughters??

I'm happy for her. I don't think it's ever easy for mom. It just seems to go by so fast.

What joys this brings to us as parents. We wait, we pray, and then it happens. Young love is so beautiful! Wish them both grace for their journey and patience for yours as you watch them. I have gone through this twice and we are so thankful for the men our daughters were given. One more to go for us. Good looking couple.

So sweet. It's wonderful your daughter has met a God honoring HIM. One of my prayers as my children are growing up is that whomever they meet a few or many years from now are being raised, nurtured, taught and led to be God fearing people. Strange to pray for people we've never met! Yet, it's my hope that my future daughters and sons in law are being watched over and protected. Rene' I hope all is well! I was recently in Idaho celebrating my mom's 90th birthday!
