- Welcome~I'm Rene'. I am a forty-something wife, homeschooling mom, and grandmother. I'm learning to walk in *grace* more and more each day. I am a daughter of my King. I live in a 100-year old farmhouse which we just might finish renovating someday. But is is still my home sweet home. Most days you will find me here working on all of my *projects*. I've been pondering this *age* business lately too. My oldest son is now college age and I'm turning 40. I can't believe that we spend all these years raising them for THIS. ;)

I'm sure not looking forward to the hormonal upheavals...I experience it a bit, but not bad yet...I'm only 42.
I am in that season of my children growing up and not around as much. That's hard, sad, and strange. I am so close to them. I don't want them to move out! Of course, I will be blessing them as they go though. Having a new puppy has been a God sent to help me in the transition. I can pamper and dote over her like I did my babies! You are blessed to have grandbabies before all your children leave the nest. I hope I do, it seems like it would help make it easier.
I have been wondering if I'm going through some "changes", too... I am glad you are feeling better!!!
