a bit of monday cheer...

spring has sprung

 My Crabapple in Bloom

Yesterday, I  took a few minutes
 to enjoy the sunshine
and
play with my camera.

If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant.

Beautiful blossom, I have 2 crab apple trees, one I planted 3 years ago ,the other 2 years ago but last year I had enough apples to make several pots of C/A jelly that I passed to friends and neighbours

Hi Rene! Your tree of blooms was a sight for sore eyes. Everything is still looking pretty dead here yet, so this was a wonderful surprise. Isn't it strange that we only live about three and a half hours apart, but our zones are so different? I can't wait till my trees look like your trees : )

Beautiful photos! I love spring--but like that quote says it is the coming out of winter that feels so good. But when winter starts I am always happy to be done with old hot days. The seasons are all wonderful. I'm thankful to live where you experience all the seasons:)

What a lovely sentiment! Your trees look gorgeous with your house (and that great painted door) as the backdrop. We have a Christmas scene today. 9 1/2 inches of snow last night!

Your photos are beautiful. Love your old house. What a fun opportunity to renovate a 100 year old house. I'm just glad someone had already painted most of my trim so I don't have to make that decision. What they didn't paint, I haven't either. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm a new follower.

Your tree is so beautiful in bloom. I love the shot of the single chair on the porch with that gorgeous door. I would hang that on my wall.

The saying is wonderful. Isn't that how we as Christians are? It's the rough, pruning times in our lives that make us more "beautiful" and make our faith so much deeper.

Gorgeous! I love crab-apple blossoms, they are so pretty! Your photos are gorgeous, I love them all, but particularly the one where the antique chair can be seen, too. I am going to steal that idea and use it when my crab-apple blooms. :)
Hugs, Cindy
