do you have the fever?

not  bieber fever

but

 spring fever

 i do

just a little playing
this week with the mantle.

Girls, this may be a record

christmas is put away

and the mantle is put back together.

 it's not even easter, yet.

Happy White Wednesday

P.S. You may think
I'm a bit A.D.D. about decorating.
I am.

What a beautiful mantle.
& Yes... I do have a serious case of spring fever... so much snow on the ground, I don't think it could possibly be gone before summer...
( & I still have a bit of Christmas not yet put away.. : )

HI Rene, Melissa here from The Vintage Attic's blog. Thanks for stopping by or I may have never found your blog..That after my whole morning and two cups of tea going over all your past blogs, have fallen in love with it. I'm now a follower with great expectations of a new post.

You left me a message wanted to know more about a piece I have on my blog, it's an organ top that was made into a wall shelf, and it is for sale at my booth space.

It's been great meeting you,
Be Blessed and Have a Fabulous day,
Melissa

Your mantle is gorgeous. I wish I had one. Someday. In the meantime I have a long shelf that I love to use for a mantle, might copy some of your ideas. Have a good weekend.

Miss Rene -
YES!! I have SPRING fever, so much so that I have passed by your house a couple of times to see if you have started painting! I actually have picked up a few items to work on, in hopes that there will be a sale to participate in (*wink*).
Your mantle looks beautiful with all of your treasures.

I do love that mantle of yours! I wish mine were a bit more conducive to pretty vignettes like yours- it's seems to be one of the hardest places in my house to be satisfied with for some reason!

Love all the pretties and the softness with the linens!

I love the look and style of your blog and your home!
And I'm still putting away the last straggling remains of Christmas myself.

I love your Mantle vignette... AND the Mantle! *swoon* Glad the Pink Tape Measure shot made you smile, there's a story about that piece... my Grandson actually got it in one of those European Christmas Crackers and I conned... um, I mean traded him out of it for something else because Gramma was lusting after it! *LOL and blushing* Being a Fabric Artist and having a thing for the Pink, I REALLY wanted it! Thankfully most little boys aren't that enamored with Pink Tape Measures and a negotiation was reached. *whew* Thought the back end story might make you smile even more!? *he he*
