it's almost time...

well, girls
it is almost time
time to give my baby girl away

as i sat through the rehearsal this evening
 i
wanted
to
freeze
time.
to make this time in our home last just a bit longer.

i wanna be honest about something
this last summer revealed some heart issues
between  me and my girl
that
totally
pulled  the rug
right out from under me.

i knew that the only way i would ever keep her was to let her go.

hard stuff

so began a time to  build a  new relationship
a time to love
with all of my heart, with all of my words, and all of my actions.

a time to send her off with all of my blessings.

it is time to let go

here a few sneak peeks
be back soon.
because it  really is time for bed...
we have a big day tomorrow.

I love all the time pieces. What beautiful ambiance. I totally understand the letting go of our baby girls. Never fully ready but have to trust God to keep them in his arms. God Bless. I just love your post I look at least 2-3 times a week so new stuff. Keep it up. Francine

It's so hard to let go. But love gives us the strength to do that which we do not think we can. And love keeps our hearts knit together...love...love is all we need. Bless your day tomorrow. I will be thinking of you and praying.

Have a glorious day. One filled with love and happiness in this new beginning for your daughter and her new husband, and for you and your DH as you let your girl fly. I would say you are giving her a fine send off.

It looks like it's going to be a beautiful wedding. I remember when my youngest girl got married.
She was the hardest for me.
Congratulations,

You are in my prayers as you let go today! I've been where you are and have experienced the struggle to let go in order to keep a daughter in my life. Though it's not easy it's worth it - oh, so worth it.
