whiter-whites...

One of my favorite rooms in the house

love
to
do laundry.

I love to fold it into tidy piles;
one for each member of my family.
One of the ways
I say
I love you

I can't get enough white lace

I wish I had something new to show you
but
I'm only
thinking
about doing something new

I'm busy here...
family...wedding plans...preparing for school...
purging...organizing...taking stuff to the shop...
knee surgery for the husband...BIG birthday parties...
making new connections...learning to encourage...
taking time to just be quiet...
oh,
and
did I say
wedding planning?
How about you?
What are you doing during these last few days of summer?
Happy White Wednesday!

Rene,
I'm with you, one can never have too much lace. Love all your pretties. Sounds like you are one busy lady!
My whole summer has been consumed by our new family room! It took 6 weeks of construction and then the last 6 weeks I have been painting and organizing and purging and painting some more. BUT I think I am just about there. It will be nice to have all my craft things in one place, all organized, labeled and catoragized. I have bought a lot of all white photo storage boxes and labeled them. (I only purchased them when they were 1/2 price!!) I will be glad to turn my time into some fun instead of work, work, work!!
Anxious to see your next post.

And I'm so with you on the 'can't get enough lace' thing....I crochet all the time because I can never have enough! hehehe....

have a great night....
I'm really enjoying the last two weeks with the kids before they go back to school...so I haven't been on the PC much lately...but soon!

I remember the first time you showed us your laundry area. I saved pictures in my inspiration file! I do so love your sweet room and am glad to hear you like to do laundry too! It makes me realize how blessed I am to have so many clothes to wear when so many have just rags. I love hanging clothes out to dry on the line also- it seems such a tranquil time for me.

Your laundry room is just so pretty--I'd be excited to spend time doing laundry in there too! I like the way you decorated that white pitcher with the bit of lace. So many things to look at and admire. Enjoy every minute of making those special plans with your girl!

What a totally cool, darling and wonderful laundry room you have...so much space it seems.
Ours is VERY small..and NO window...and a low ceiling in there due to the attic configuration in that part of the house. ..really makes it seem more like a cave.
The rest of our house has 10 ft ceilings...so that's great.

You have such a sweet, sweet home..and your photo's of it just make me want to hop on a plane and come out and see it.

I,too have been soooo busy lately and am not ready for the kids to go back to school....that's when the running around really begins.

Enjoy the end of your Summer and good luck with all the wedding plans. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Oh I could look at your house over and over again, so inspiring to see even something so tucked away as a laundry room. I am needing a spruce up in mine and maybe that will make me enjoy doing some laundry. I think if I would have be able to get the floor plan I wanted for my home it would have helped, it had a huge window for the natural light to shine in. Oh well there is always next time right...

Love your laundry room - so peaceful!

I've been wrapped up with wedding plans too, but only for 47 days. Youngest daughter thought that was plenty of time to plan one. AND I had surgery in the beginning. Turns out 47 days was enough time to plan a lovely wedding. Enjoyed sharing that special time with her!
