vintage white...

Welcome to
White Wednesday!

I love old pieces of architecture.
They are what make these old house so unique.
I love to collect doors, windows and other pieces of these old ladies.

From the inside looking out

Details that I just love...

As much as I love to paint white
there is just something about
chippy, vintage white

Especially, with a touch of pink added

The vintage white spandrel
between our family room and kitchen

My downstairs powder room door

Drop on by Faded Charm to see more wonderful white.

Thanks, Kathleen!

  18. You really have the most beautiful white pieces everywhere. Those old doors and all the intricate details including the lace trimmed cloth draped about...I would never think to do the things you do. LIke the doors...who knew you can hang those old doors in your home and use them!?! I've seen old doors used for decorating but not used as an actual door in your home. Now you've got me thinking!!! You are lovely. xo Fairmaiden

  20. Hi thanks for visiting me. I haven't had a chance yet so read the White Wednesday posts or the 2nd time posts. A crazy week here. But thanks for coming by. I did look at your other blogs...wish I could come and shopt. I love your WW post. Lovely. I love the white door. About my canisters I was originally going to paint them white but the sewing room is changing so I guess they will stay stained for a while.
    Thanks again for visiting.
    Come back any time.
    Blessings,
    Sherry

  21. Hey Renee!

Just got back from Boise. The family and I spent some time going to thrift stores and a few antique shops. The Shabby Cottage is right around the corner from my BIL and was I ever tickled to find your space there. I totally forgot that you had a space there and as I was looking at all your cute things I said out loud. "I know her!" We had a great time, but good to be home again!

    Hugs,

    Lisa
