To give thanks
is an action
and
rejoice is a verb
and these
are not mere pulsing emotions.
While I may not always feel joy,
God asks me to give
thanks in all things,
because He knows
that the feeling of
JOY
begins in the action of THANKSGIVING.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your beautiful family. Love the white piano. Yes, have seen it before, but love it even more in these pictures, perhaps due to the white frames on top. I just received a copy of this beautiful book today. So perfect as after I fix all the side dishes to take to my daughters on Thursday, I am going to savor a few moments to read the first few pages of this beautiful book. I have this book on audio. I find it easier to listen to than to read. BUT - I love the quotes. They seem to 'sink' into the mind that way. I have started my own gratitude list, have you?
