blossom...

It's a quiet  but busy life
a little basketball...
a little homeschooling...
a little grandbaby-watching...a little painting...
a little etsy-ing
~
~
not too creative
just the nitty-gritty of life-stuff

it's also been a time of
challenge,
 questioning, and perseverance.
Of decisions.
Faith-stretching...that is what it is.

Life is a roller coaster, isn't it?
Or is it just me?

I found this little bit  while out last weekend
it's above my kitchen sink
giving me something to ponder  as I go about my day.

It just speaks to me
How about you?

  13. Three good points in what you shared: we are to blossom and there's a lot there to think about, and to be thankful or rejoice, and to top it all over and overriding it all should be our joy. Thanks for sharing, and with the beauty of the little picture to ice the cake!

  16. Hi sweet Rene! Such a beautiful vintage card and wonderful verse! So glad you found it and can enjoy pondering it everyday! It does speak to me too! Yes, I agree, life is a roller coaster, but what a wonderful ride it can be! :) I hope things get better soon! God promises that all things work together for good to those that love him. That brings me comfort, especially when things aren't going good! :) Love you, Paula

  17. I like that verse. It does make you think. I'm still pondering it. You know how you can read the Bible and sometimes feel like you never read a verse? That's how this is striking me. The picture is charming!

  20. It is a very sweet card and it touched me also.

Like the way you are using the flower frogs to hold the pic. I have quite a few from gardening and have been using them especially over Christmas.

  23. I love the little card, if I had to give my one consistent prayer to God it would be that life (and everything that comes with it) would not steal my joy.
Sometimes I feel that I might give under the strain, then God brings sweet relief.
Life is a roller coaster...and I know my faith is being stretched daily!
