just married...

mission accomplished

Mr. & Mrs. G

off to

Happily Ever After
~
~
~

all went off without a hitch...all sweetness and perfection...only 1 almost  * mother-of the-bride* moment...  we survived...i am ok...i think...until i went into her bedroom and saw the empty closet...
oh, my...just close the door...

now,  on to the next thing...the christmas open house at the shabby house...how did it get to be time for christmas?... i really dislike this aspect  of retail...i am always a season behind in* real life* so this puts me 2 seasons behind..my heart is saying keep it  simple but my mind is racing because i want spectacular...we'll see which wins...
here are a few more sneakie-peekie pics  from the photographer...
don'tcha love this instant digital age?!

have a great week.
lotsa love,
rene'

  12. How WAY DARLING he wore tennis shoes on his wedding day... they look perfect together. I am sure you love him to pieces.
She looked RADIANT..and oh so happy.
Glad the wedding went off without a hitch...that is always a good thing. GOD BLESS THEM FOREVER.

I love weddings. The last one we we attended was our granddaughters...
I in fact, have her wedding dress here at my house...on a dress form (as my husband and I paid for her wedding and bought her dress...etc, etc.....long story )
So she told me to keep it for her. I love it.
Reminds me EACH day how beautiful she was that day too.

  18. Rene, this is too beautiful for words. I loved every photo. I even made Dale come in and see how lovely this wedding was. He hasn't met you before (that I remember) but I know he and Curt would get along great. Both are wonderful guys.
I imagine that the stress level at your house has eased a little. Oh how I wish I could be there for the Christmas opening at the Shabby House. Em's been nagging me to come to Boise, but I just can't leave right now.
Good luck...I know it will be beautiful.
    hugs to you...

  19. Congratulations Rene'.... you made it! She'll always be your Miss G. Loving all these photos.....I wish I could do it over again(not really, just the picture part...oh yeah, and all the decoration would be different). I'm not sure who picked it all out, but it couldn't have been me......my how we change.

Good luck with all your Holiday planning....it always seems to come together.

  22. Oh Rene such a beautiful wedding and wonderful day. Your daughter is beautiful and I love the photos. Did your daughter take them?
Second wedding I have seen where the guys wore tennis shoes. Cute!

This sure brings memories flooding back , but it was my youngest sons wedding. The one with horse drawn white carriage and all. He walked me down the aisle and then he gave me a hug and HE started crying! I tried to let go a couple times and he just hung on and cried so of course I started crying too! He has always been my most tender child. Love that boy!!
    Hugs~
