i heart....

a love worth fighting for

abundant blessings

choosing hope

swept off her feet

an attraction of opposites

2 peas in a pod

more from the
sneak peek of
our family photo shoot

I saw the rest of them
this morning...

They melted my heart.

Can't wait to show you!

my camera situation...I've been doing my research
and am leaning towards the Canon Rebel XS...but if I'm going to jump to a dslr I have to commit to learning things...things like aperture and iso...those things scare me.
Any Rebel users out there?
Do you like it?

  3. STUNNING. You have a beautiful family Rene'. Can't wait to see the rest of the shoot.

I'm looking at Rebels too....but, I'm skeered for the same reasons as you! I'll be watching the comments to see what your readers say. Carol Spinski had a great post about cameras here:

  6. Gorgeous images!

When I was DSLR shopping, I had it narrowed down to the Canon and a Nikon, and I went with the Nikon. So I can't help you there, except to say that you really can't go wrong with either.

Doesn't she just have the most darling things?
She's also one of the absolute nicest glas I've met in blogging, too. :-)

Have a fabulous rest of the week!

  7. GORGEOUS photos Rene!! LOVE LOVE LOVE the feet one. I need to take a photography class so I can take pictures like that!

I have a Canon and I love it (the power shot S5 IS)the only thing I know about it is that I love it!! LOL
That being said my son has had a Canon XTI for several years and loves it too. He took photography classes in college so he knows wayyyy more than I do and I wish he lived close enough to help me. *sniff*sniff*

In my humble opinion you can't go wrong with a Canon camera. My pick always!
    Hugs~

  8. Rene' these are gorgeous. They melted my heart too. Ember called me and asked if I had seen your pictures, because she is coming this weekend for me to take their family pics. Well I can see that her's will look nothing as beautiful as these. But they certainly inspired me to do better.
I am thinking of buying an DSLR too, but don't know yet which camera I want and when I will cough up the money for one. I do know about ISO and F-stop and aperture settings, but I know that I will still need to practice a lot.
You have such a darling family Rene' and I know that you know you are so blessed.

Good luck with the camera thing, I don't know much about them, all I do know is that I sometimes have a really hard time getting a decent picture, and then other times they turn out just fine, and I'll be doing the exact same thing, I just can't figure it out! 23. Hi Rene! I was over here yesterday and thought that I left you a note... oops! Looks like it didn't stick! :P

I just wanted to tell you your family is so handsome! And these pictures are wonderful!!

I have a rebel and LOVE it. I would recommend that you go ahead and get the 35mm F2 wide angle lens with it while you are at it. This is the BEST all around lens for rooms and close ups!!! I love it! It would be perfect for you! :)

    Have a lovely weekend!
